Summer is here, How to wear your wedding dress

Summer is the official time of wedding season, and many of us will be attending multiple celebrations for family members and friends. Figuring out what to wear for all of these shindigs can be a challenge—not to mention expensive.

But you don’t have to break the bank to look like a million bucks at your loved ones’ nuptials. Here are four key ways for guys and gals alike to keep things chic, while also keeping your budget in check.

Switch up your shoes
Shoes are a great way to switch up what you wear to various events. A black dress can be paired with virtually any color or style of shoes, from high heels to sparkly flats. Guys, invest in some black and brown loafers (which you can also wear with jeans to work or on date night). Or consider some casual boat shoes that can be worn at less formal affairs.

Put your effort into grooming
A pretty up-do or perfect blowout can both go a long way toward looking put together. Spend time getting your hair and makeup on point–and it doesn’t really matter what you wear. (As long as you stick to the dress code that is!)

Since shoes get more wear and tear (hello, dance floor!)—buy comfortable kicks that don’t cost a fortune. That way, if someone steps on you or spills a drink near you, you won’t be too bummed if your shoes get ruined.

Borrow accessories
Ask your friends to loan you accessories like necklaces, earrings, clutches and belts, or ties and pocket squares, instead of shelling out money to buy them. This way, you can wear basically the same thing to each wedding but switch up the little touches that will make your look unique.

Invest in staples
Rather than buying a new dress or suit for each event, invest in a couple of quality outfits you can wear to multiple functions—weddings and other dressy events alike. A little black (or navy, or red) cocktail dress will work for most of the soirees you’ll be attending. For guys, a black or gray suit (or even navy!) is a great closet staple to have in your wardrobe and can work basically for any event. A few neutral dress shirts (basic white always looks fresh) will go a long way, too.

Jewelry part is an important link, showing your taste is the best embodiment, all of which is particularly important, of course, jewelry are carefully selected for your preparation.

In general, stay away from busy prints (like floral dresses or plaid shirts), trendy styles and bargain finds that you don’t truly love. If you purchase a few key items you really feel great in, you’ll be able to wear them many, many times with confidence.

For men, have a haircut, shave or beard before any major event. These grooming requirements will make you look radiant and should be part of your daily life anyway.
